Shopping cart e-mail adress for receiving orders  en

Isit possible in the ?

I receive the order in my g-mail and then I have to forward to the printer to print it.

all wireless printers does not accept direct forwarding throught the g-mail.

Is there a way me and the wireless printer receive the order automaticly?

I know I can send it to the printer to print it.

It's not really clear to me what you want. You can also place the order at several through  ;  separate email addresses, or if you use a server e-mail address, the order will be forwarded to any destination addresses.

Hi there,

what I want is to receive the order in two different e-mails,

one to me for my records and an another to the wireless printer,

because  wireless printers want accept forwarded e-mails.

in the shopping cart settings you can have only one adress for receiving orders

it is so simple to add another field for e-mail adress for receiving orders

i hope that version 14 will corect that

You can add a second email where the order needs to be sent by separating it with ; in the email field.

If you use 2 email addresses does the order arrives at least to one e-mail-address?

If not it could depend on the hosting server which is not allowing to send an email to 2 addresses at the same time from the website and in this case you could set in gmail to forward automatically the email to *** in case you receive an order.

If I use 2 email addresses NOBODY RECEIVES the order 

If I use 1 email address the order arrives normal.

I receive the order in my g-mail and then I have to forward to the printer to print it.

but all wireless printers does not accept  forwarding throught the e-mail.

only direct e-mail.

my server accepts as sender addresses only those, which correspond to the domain of the webshop and are also established there.

Hello Claudio,

I chated with my hosting provider and they confirmed that I could send

emails to more than 2 addresses at the same time.

they said that it must be a configuration problem with my software.

Please Claudio could you please fix it for the version 14, it's very important for me.

If your server does not do anything, you always have the possibility to forward an email address (from your domain.ext) which you use in wx5, on the server in the email area to any email addresses.

This way you can easily reach all recipients of the order.

the other e-mail is for the wireless printer,

Hello Miltiadis D.,

Try to change email script type and in case use the domain emails since it could depend on this. The program can send 2 emails and it works correctly and in your case it is not sent because of a specific hosting setting and probably by using another email script or a domain email it will work.

I chatted with my hosting provider and they that their servers

supports the PHP and the mail command is active.

they insist that is a software problem

Hello Miltiadis,

Open the project and go to step 2 data management. there you can change the email script type.

I would suggest to use the authenticated SMTP script by using the email and smtp data of your hosting space and then export the project online and test it.

Hello Miltiadis,

Is is an email script type used to authenticate who sends the emails on an email server. Yuo find the smtp address, username and password on the hosting account of where you are hosting the website.

If the information should not be there ask the hosting provider support for the where to find them.

Choose authenticated SMTP and then enter:

smtp address: guy.web-dns1.com

Encryption mode: ssl

port:465

As username and password you need to choose the username and password for the email of the hosting.

I did but not working.

see the answer of my hosting:

The test worked on our end I received the order at *** also as the client I received the confirmation at ***
and I could see the trace of the email in the logs as completed.

However, I see in the log that the email to *** was not sent for the following reason:
SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data: 550-5.7.1 [158.69.54.97 13] Messages with multiple addresses in From:\n550 5.7.1 header are not accepted. d11si1377937qtb.463 - gsmtp

You would have to ask X5 how they handle this situation because normally a correctly formated email should have 1 from.

Hello Miltiadis,

As you see the email was sent but blocked because you used a gmail email while you used the smtp data of whc.ca.

Try to set a second email of whc.ca or an alias to send it to the printer so the authentication works also for this email.

The smtp protocol needs to validate the emails and if you use an email of another server then this wont be accepted.

It could also be in this way it won't work since the email server of the hosting gave as response:

Messages with multiple addresses in From:\n550 5.7.1 header are not accepted. d11si1377937qtb.463 - gsmtp

Where multiple emails are not accepted but this depends only on the email server used on the hosting since on other hosting servers all works correctly.

In this case it is not allowed on the hosting server like I wrote you beacuse of the server message you received:

Messages with multiple addresses in From:\n550 5.7.1 header are not accepted. d11si1377937qtb.463 - gsmtp

there is nothing the program can do if the server is not allowing it.
