Image copy protection and shown in web search results

I wonder if the copy protection feature also prevents the web browser from displaying the image in the search results. I want to have the image protected from copying. And I also want my picture to be shown in search results. Can I use the image protect feature before copying?

If I were you, I would not worry about the copy-protection.
It is a fantasy. If something is displayed or broadcasted on the net, it can be copied.
There are screen-capture software to copy images and videos - and also audio files can be copied. If you can see it on the screen or hear it in your audio device - then you can copy it. You can make if difficulty for for the "copier" to reuse your material when you put one or more watermarks in your images.
Upload only material in resolutions that is suitable to be displayed. If you have an image in high resolution then resample ( image proportions ) and compress ( image quality ) it befure use. This gives your page better loading times. This way, the user only can copy an image with the poor resolution - and it is better for your project.
Watermarks does not look nice. Important is, that you tell on your site that your material is belonging to you ( copyrighted) , and that it may ( or may not ) be used in certain ways.
Search the web for material about the copyright law.
Again - you cannot prevent material to be copied.
