X5 ver 14 Pro - I've got a font and font size issue. Depending on which menu item is selected, the font and its size change. What's up with that?? The first image is the correct one.

This image show the incorrect font and the size change.
That looks strange James,
a few things that you can check,
Have you doen a full upload and then a refresh when visiting the site with F5 button?
Or is it in preview, then do ctrl key with preview and see if it's gone.
I assume you have the same menu object, every menu object can have there own settings. Maybe by accedent one is set to BOLD?
Else an URL might help.
Thanks.

Thanks for the respons Andre E...
The issue is there in the "Preview" and on the web.
Yes it is the same menu object. The issue is not font being bold but rather an entirley diffeant font displays.
The site is under heavy constrouction but here is the url: https://midsouthmc.org/newsite/index.html
Ideas?
James, is this project converted from V13?
If so, you could try export the project to create an iwzip file and then import the new iwzip in the hope the proceedure cleans out any legacy font code.
Can we assume that there are no messages when the project starts indicating there are any font issues?
After CTRL Preview (to flush all old content), if you then export the website to a new folder on your PC, does the issue exist when you open it with your favourite browser??
Try the export import IDEA from Esahc, then do a full upload and try again.
Another option is to remove the menu object and make a new one, maybe something is not completely set correctly somewhere.

Thanks for the tip Esahc..
I deleted all files from my server. Then did a CTRL Preview (to flush all old content) in X5, then exported the entire site back to the server. YAHOO, the issue is resolved. Very strange.
Hello,
I seem to have the same problem - font in Menu and Stickybar changes (fall back to default) when viewing different pages.
Happens in the preview as well as "online" on PC, tablet and Smartphone.
In my< setup, the font in the Menu and in the Stickybar is the same, it's a (free) font which i obtained from the Internet in the various formats ( eot, svg, ttf and wof). The fonts exist in folder /style/fonts on my (provider's) server.
Problem disappears after deleting all files on the server, CTRL+Preview and reload whole site....butoccurs again after uploading only changed contents.
I have reviewed both the stickybar and menu several times, i am sure that there's no issue with font name, size etc.
Doing a full upload solves the problem again, but is rather a bad circumvention as a final solution.
By the way: in my case it's V14 EVO
Theo, as you say, this is very odd. When you view the online site do you also clear the browser cache (ctrl F5)?
And just as a matter of passing interest, you could not find a suitable google font? (the proceedure for this is much simpler and more straightforward)
Esahc.. Yes, i did clear the browser cache - many times. The problem occurs on several browsers, Firefox, Edge, Safari etc. and also on several devices like PC, Tablet, Mobile Phone.
I found imbedding of the fonts quite straightforward too, but i will now check for a similar google font.
Nevertheless it's annoying.
Theo, I am aware of issues with embedded fonts in wx5 v14, but to be honest I thought they had been resolved. I am not aware of any issues with google fonts. I am sure you will solve the issue if you can choose a suitable google font. If this is not the case, please advise.
Esahc..As you said and expected, Google Fonts do work nicely.
So, obviously, the issue with fonts from other sources is not resolved. As WSX5 V14 offers the possibility and it does not work - this must a bug, right?
So how can i address this to incomedia as a bug? Can you do that? Can i do that?
Thanks...Theo
Theo,
We can get help from Incomedia right here. Do you have a webadres so we can check where the problem is and how it looks like?
Or could you make a small test folder? So your own site won't suffer from this problem?
Thanks.
Andre E: Yes, i can make a small test site. I will inform you when ready.
Thanks
Andre: Today i was offered Update 14.0.5.2, which i installed. Guess what...the issue with my imbedded fonts does NOT occur anymore and seems to be solved. Thanks for your help.
Maybe James' similar problem is solved too?
Thank goodness Incomedia updates bring Joy not Grief - perhaps we could put them in charge of Microsoft :-)
