Having trouble with videos not loading in web browser but working fine in mobile.
http://pixieconcepts.com/about-us.html
I've uploaded the video directly to the template and it wouldn't play. I then tried to upload to youtube and it still won't play. works fine with safari on mobile but won't play in ie or edge.

Kerry, have you uploaded the video to youtube? If so, can you provide a link?
If you are placing a local file directly into WX5, it will not play in preview, but it should play when on the web. You can test this by exporting the site to a folder on your PC, then open the index file with your favourite browser.

here's the embed I used:
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/OnU6wkVeqMc?rel=0" frameborder="0" gesture="media" allow="encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>
and had also tried to use the link:
https://youtu.be/OnU6wkVeqMc
as indicated, I know the file works as I can go directly to it on youtube, and also know the website build is partially working as I can see it fine from mobile (eg. safari) but it only shows a thumbnail and will not play from desktop.

and I should note this is not in preview mode, I fully realize it will not show there.
Hello Kerry
The code you have given functions for me. It functions in preview, Edge, Firefox and Chrome on a desktop.
Is the code for the iframe the only code you have on the page or in the html-object.
Try to make a testpage and only put one html-object on this page and only this code :
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/OnU6wkVeqMc?rel=0" frameborder="0" gesture="media" allow="encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Then tell us the outcome of this.
Kind regards
John S.
Kerry, like John said, I can't find a problem with the clip.
I dropped your link into the video object and it works, even in preview.
Have you tried forcing a full upload of your site rather than updating new and changed files?

Can you tell me what you're using to access it? Like I said, I've done the same, and it works fine from mobile (Safari) but only shows the screenshot and the play button in the middle of the video, but it won't click to play. I've tried it in IE, Edge, Chrome and Firefox to no avail, but again no issues on mobile.
Interesting you say it works in preview...again I can only see the still image of the video in preview (same as production).
Kerry, this is all I did (then filled in as above)
If you are running Win 10, have you restarted your PC/Laptop recently?
I have had some weird problems after a recent Windows update which had apparently replaced some files but required a restart to complete the process, and version 1709 is causing a great deal of "update rage" for a number of my clients.
