Hi, I am having the same problem. Recommended solutions do not work at all.

Further to my previous post I uninstalled X5 and deleted the entire Website X5v15 - Professional folder rather than just the config file (which didn't work). After re-installing X5 the problem went away.
Hope this helps others with the same problem.

You must edit que XML and mark it as a "read only", than way it will not be changed by this bug.
