I`m getting the below error when i open the project
An error occured while loading the project.
[There is an error i XML document(0,0).]

Presumably the xml is empty, if you have a backup or an iwzip file you can restore the project, otherwise you have to start a new project, where you can copy the structures and contents from the published homepage. There is no converter from html to project.

does this mean the is no solution to restore this project , because i did not do backup
John, you can check if there is a backup (these are created automatically if you upload your site using the built in ftp) by opening WX5, selecting your project and then clicking backup. If one exists, select it and click redo.
Hopefully you will have success, but much of the time "There is an error i XML document(0,0)" is fatal. If so you would need to recreate your site by copy and pasting from the online site into a new project. If this becomes necessary then please take the pre-emptive step of regularly going to step 5, export, export project and then rename the iwzip (perhaps number incrementally or with date) so you can keep multiple versions. IWZIP is very reliable compared to backup. If you do wish to rely on backup, click the down arrow next to save.
I note you have multiple versions of WX5, assuming you upgraded this project you should still have an iwzip you used in the process. This old iwzip may give you a head start in recreating your current start?
