Is it possible to do "Bulk replace" across different pages?  en

Hello,

I wanted to find out if anyone knows if it is possible to do a "bulk replace" across multiple pages?  For example, if I have 10 pages on my website, and 5 of those pages has a "Text Object" with the same promotional message on it, and I need to change each of these 5 pages' "Text Object" to a new message... is it possible to replace each of these objects in a special way to impact them all at one time?  Or must you go into each and every single page, delete the older Text Object module and Paste the new one in?

If it is not possible to do a "Bulk Replace", is there possibly a consideration of some sort to allow us to do a "Replace" on multiple "Objects" on selected pages at once?

I ask because this can be quite tedious for someone with a promotional Object on each of over 400 pages worth of products.  Thank you in advance for any information regarding the best way to replace an Object for multiple pages versus having to do everything manually.

German, there is no bulk delete/change in WX5, but perhaps with a little thought you could make future updates a breeze?

(Please note I haven't done this because I haven't needed to, but I cannot see why it would not work or it might lead someone else to look at this solution and offer a more professional way)

You can create a page in WX5 without a template and so easily create your "promotional object" to the dimensions you require, then hide your promotional page.

On each page that includes the promotional object replace it with an html box containing an iframe to display the promotional page within the cell.

Next time you wish to update the "promotional object" simply do so and all pages will automatically be updated. It may be necessary to initially upload the project so the promotional object page can be located.

Thanks a lot Esahc, that may actually work out if I do it correctly, since the iFrame will queue up the promotional object page you mentioned setting up.  I appreciate the heads up!  Now if I can only figure out a simpler way to make 900+ individual pages for each product without having to actually manually create 900+ pages, one for each product, I may make my life a bit simpler Lol!
