I have created a website (www.ne.hrgb.org.uk) which has been working fine. I wanted to update the site for the new year, loaded the site, all pages are present, click on any page and the contents are not visible. Likewise previewing the website, shows loading but nothing is displayed! I have tried this on both my laptop and desktop but the same result.
Any help would be appreciated.

It looks good to me, have you pressed F5 in your browser?
Else do a full upload.

Hello Andre - maybe I've not explained.
When I open Website and select the website from edit existing or start new, I can't preview the site at this stage. I have to turn off AVG, I can then edit the site, preview the site and upload the site. I then have to turn AVG back on.
If AVG is running I can not edit, preview or upload the site. Sorry for not explaining. Andrew
I suggest getting rid of AVG and purchasing ESET NOD 32 from www.eset.com. I have no problems with ESET and I’ve been using it for many years. It does not interfere with X5 or any other software applications.
You get what you pay for.
Sorry i misunderstood
Well like Myron say's a paid virus / firewall is importand, maybe the most importand software, but better to find no problems, then later with free software and problems, at the end it costs you anyway.
With good software you have better protection, although avg is not bad.
I use alway's paid protection for my pc, I have used Eset as well, but stopt it many years ago due to taking upp a lot of speed and space from pc. But that was many years ago, they probably got better.
Anyway there are many, test a few, read tests and buy the one you like if you can't get AVG to work with x5.
Maybe someone else can help you with that, i can't because i don't use AVG.
But maybe this helps?

The version I have is the latest fully updated and paid for AVG Internet Security!
It should be possible to set x5 as trusted for the adresses it uses. Specialy in the paid version.
copy the webadres in preview and set it as trusted adress in avg, also for uploading, I hope AVG accepts FTP adresses.
have you already asked AVG? if you have a paid version they should be able to help you.
Andrew, does this link show you how to create an exception?

Thank you all for your responses. The problem was at AVG and this has now been resolved. Many thanks.
