Orthan, yes this template should work fine in v2019, although I suspect you may also need to purchase one or many optional objects to see it exactly as in the live preview.
Hi Esahc!
He said version 16 Pro, not v-2019...

Hi Orhan, I have been asking the same question. check the post "are we being left behind"
I have posted screes shots of the message given when I look at it.
My bad, my apologies.
It would appear that it is not compatible :-(
I would not call this being left behind (although I agree, any templates once available for v16 should STILL be available for use by v16 users), but it is hardly reasonable to expect that a template developed for v2019 (or v17 for that matter) should work in earlier versions.

Thank you for the answers. For clarity, I have now version 16 pro.
I want to buy a shop template. How can I see which templates are compatible with the version 16 pro?
Esahc I see your point that new templates may not be used if created by a newer version. Just confirms that if we don't sign up to update protection then we can expect less and less. Thats fair.
What is not fair is that we cannot avail of an update to fix a problem that we had in our version when it was current. Any bugs or problems we had when we purchased the program should really be fixed and an update given to those who have the problem. It feels that we are being forced to go the update protection route just to have a working product.

If this is true "It feels that we are being forced to go the update protection route just to have a working product." I have then a problem. My credits(41) are expire soon (17 april) and I wanted to buy a shop template. But it seems impossible to buy a new template that has been developed with a newer version of Website X5!!!
Orhan that sounds correct. From what I see Incomedia is forcing customers to either subscribe to update protection or be left behind. They inform us that it's a good thing, who for? certainly not us the customer. Lots of posts have been written re this update protection. It has been said on many a post that we will have frequent updates and fixes. Have a look at the last so called update, nothing more than a face lift. Still running with bugs and problems that have yet to be sorted and when was the last time we have had any new objects introduced? we even have to pay for most of those.
Hi Orhan,
unfortunately, as the template has been created with version 17, it is not possible to import it into a lower version. The fact is that the templates are full projects, and just like your own projects, it is not possible to import an iwzip into a older version, as the software is not downwardly compatible.
Please let me know if I can be of further help. Kind regards.
Orhan, if you only search for templates through v16 you will only see templates that work with v16. I counted roughly 3 dozen "paid for" templates if you are so inclined, but surely you do not own all the available objects? Perhaps purchasing a few of these for future use would be a valuable way to burn credits?

Hi moderator,
Could you send me your filter to search for templates through v16? I want to buy some templates.
Thank you.
Hi Orhan,
There is not search function on the templates page. You can see the version, on every template, by clicking on the "Info" button:
and if you click on Preview, here...
Enjoy,

All I did was open WX5 v16, select new project and then browse available templates.
Hi Gordon,
You're right ...... We can also buy them from the software when they have a small basket:

Never buy credits again at website x5, because they will expire if you don't use them. I had 57 credits and was forced by Website X5 to make it up, otherwise I would lose it. That was never mentioned when purchasing credits!!!
As a customer, you are also forced to purchase a new version of X5, because the new templates are no longer compatible with the older version! This also makes no sense, because I have bought almost all objects and the templates just have to be compatible with older versions!
I find this sad!!!
Hi Orhan,
I can see your point, and I am sorry you are not happy with this policy. Unfortunately, I must confirm that Credits have an expiration date. Please don't forget we inform about this aspect on our FAQ page dedicated to Credits, on the Buy Credits page, as well as by sending reminders e-mail. This is not a way of forcing you to buy products on our Marketplace, but to avoid the expiration on unused credits.
As well as other company in the same field, we have adopted this system so to allow the management in micro-payments, and therefore to reduce the prices of the resources on the Marketplace.
Please let me know if there is something I can do for you. Kind regards.
