Hi,
How can I achieve a custom font-size (TITLE element) for each view in the header or in "sticky bar" WITHOUT using the SHOW/HIDE option and CODING?
I have somehow (by chance) achieved that one time - now, when I change the font size in i.e. mobile phone view - the font size changes in all other views as well... which could be a bit annoying :)
Thank you in advance for any help!

Sinisa, there is a tick box in the title object that will resize the object dependent on the available space for the object at each resolution. ie in mobile, resize the object "box" and the content will resize accordingly.
Similarly, an image object will resize in accordance with your needs.
But for other objects this is not the case (eg menu, if the space available is too small then the toaster menu will be shown).
However, you CAN hide an object for a specific resolution or this resolution and below, you can then add a new object at the lesser resolution with everything sized as appropriate for that resolution.
This also applies to the sticky bar.
Be aware that if you change the font size in a specific object, this affects the font size at all resolutions.
Coding is never required.

Thank you!
And what about the TEXT object?
When I set some text to be i.e. 24 pix in a WIDE SCREEN view and I want that same text in the MOBILE view to be 16 pix?
How can I achieve that? Only with HIDE function?
Thank you in advance!

Sinisa, yes hide function would work, but how much text?
I have multiple lines of text on a website header that I want to resize, I simply use a title object for each line.
Another way would be to create your text exactly as you want it and take a screen shot and crop it, now place as an image which will/can resize in accordance with your needs.
Today's web standards would prefer you kept all text the same size at various resolutions (within reason), so I can not see Incomedia making text change font size for various resolutions.

Thank you!
The font-sze in the TEXT object is in pixels not in em's.... so if I have a paragraph of text in the size of 25 pix - this font size will be too large to use in small screens. That's the reason why I want to have different font-sizes for different resolutions...
Hello Sinisa,
Not an off-the-shelf solution, but you could achieve this with a little custom coding?

Hi Paul,
Thank you - but I chose WebSite X5 for not have to code anymore ;)
If I have to custom code - I would have to use the HTML blocks for all the text I have on the web-site, correct?
Or, upon export, I'll have to manually change the page CSS, right?
And, just now, I have found that I should buy the button object to be able to insert CSS based (not graphical) buttons...it's a bit disappointing...

You can mix HTML code and plain text in Text Objects using the Enable HTML Code command in the editing toolbar, Sinisa.

But I completely take your point about not wanting to use code in any way. It was just a suggestion as to how you might be able to achieve your goal.

Paul,
you were most helpful - thank you!
But, it's about the program's "philosophy"- which is all about "drag & drop" - but for such a trivial thing like having different font sizes for different views it fails...
Maybe the developers should take this issue into consideration for the next update?
