I believe that your feedback will be interesting for many users who are using your WS X5 platform for building e-shops.
My question is:
What are your plans for e-commerce segment in 2020.?
You don't have to give us any strict deadlines.
I just want to find out can I match my own business plan(s) with the tool development (WSX5) I'm going to use.
Thank you in advance on behalf of all the WSX5 Pro users!

Thank you - but don't you think that Incomedia should read (and answer) the post like this without any special notification? I can see that you're a moderator but still...
It's their job or - at least - it should be...
Hi Sinisa,
thank you for getting in touch.
As mentioned on a previous post about the topic, the new version is going to focus on the e-commerce section of the program. As soon as it will be ready, you will be able to test the Preview version of the software, so to have a more in depth look at the included features. I unfortunately do not have any information regarding its release time, but it shouldn't take long now.
I am sorry I don't have more precise information to provide you with, but in case you have questions please let me know.
Kind regards.

Thank you for getting in touch!
Can you tell us -at least - will this new version be available by June 2020?
"don't you think that Incomedia should read (and answer) the post like this without any special notification" - they do so.But notification may speed up the response a bit (probably).
The CEO's response to my letter:
"upcoming years", it's not "next year" (this comes from August 2019).
But, who knows! Maybe it will be done by June 2020...
FYI
Hi Sinisa,
I confirm it will be availabe before the date you reported, I actually do not think it will take long until the Preview version is released. As soon as I will get more information regarding the matter I will be happy to inform you here, but you will surely receive a notice via our official channels as well, don't worry.
Thanks! Have a nice day.

I believe that's a great news for anyone planning to use the e-commerce part for making money.
Elise, if the IT team needs an advice (or two) what are "the burning" issues with the e-commerce - please let me know.
I'll gladly write "an essential" e-commerce TO DO list here.
Cheers!
We hope there are important improvements in the new version
We are waiting
The last version of X5 that I purchased was v.16. i know that I will never upgrade further until the E-Commerce component offers all the essential functions and is bug-free.
Only then will Incomedia earn my business as a loyal user, something that disappeared a few years ago.
This is good news - especially if the news is what we have been waiting for. If this is the case I think I will be back on X5.
Even if there is better tools for webdesign and e-commerce, then I think it will be best to have a complete solution in the same "package".
Let us all cross our fingers

Yes, I really do hope that someone from the company notifies our wishes and questions.
I will be very pleased if only those major "holes" of the e-commerce got fixed/improved.
Namely:
> at least one new payment gateway (which supports digital products & local currencies) ->2checkout, STRIPE...;
> more freedom with the shopping cart layout table (so we could design it to look more modern);
> VAT rules (VAT by country, different VAT for private buyers and for a company) and VAT amount displayed BEFORE the TOTAL amount);
> Shipping costs defined by country;
> ORDER to INVOICE - exporting all the order data into popular format which will facilitate future invoicing;
> updating the ONLINE CONTROL PANEL - more product control, the possibility to add an INVOICE template etc. etc
and tha main purpose:
To change order process
Actually it's
choice --> order --> confirmation --> payment
to a normal way like 99,99% of e-commerce websites
choice --> order --> payment--> confirmation
I think one of the major issues is, that the product handling requires the X5 to be maintained - so I hope that besides the Filtering options, VAT handling, and the payment things, that products are moved to a database.
This way the X5 could be used to create e-commerce for clients.
