Trouble editing site designed in previous version  en

I am using version 2019.3.16 and editing an online shop I created 3 years ago in X5 Pro13. There is a title line or lines, different on each page, just below the header which is standard on all pages. I can access and edit the header, footer, and page contents, but this title text I cannot find in the programme to edit or remove it. It does not appear in the template structure or template content.  (Marked with green arrow in jpeg attached).

I would appreciate help / advice.

Lawrence, could this be in a text object above the catalogue object on your shop page

or perhaps Page Title is turned on?

Hello,  there is no text object above the catalogue objects on this page.

On one of the other pages there is a text object which I put there. This shows a further description in lower-case text underneath the "Title" line. On the site this looks like part of the same box, but in fact the "Title" is nowhere to be seen in 'Content' editing. (screenshot attached).

Regards,

Lawrence

Did you check step 2 text style as in my second screen shot?

My guess is you will find the line of text by going to the page in step 3, selecting properties and look in page title

Thank you!  It is under Map / Page properties as you say.  Should I also tick 'Tag Title' ?

I am not used to the newer version yet, in fact haven't done it for a while.

Another thing I haven't found yet, is where to put Alt Text for pictures?

Regards,

Lawrence

Lawrence, if you are using an image object there is a field you can fill in for ALT

If you are simply placing an image in a text object, select and right click the image then select image properties.

With TAG title it's up to you, but these options are designed to improve your SEO
