I sow your post about the HTML problem now, im going to try that but i can only do that once my website is done deleting off the FTP 

I see that the Shopping cart search is also set to HTML, should that be like that?

Do you have PHP suppport for your website bought?

This is needed for x5, check if you have PHP support and see that is set to PHP7.1 
you need to this with your website provider

I made the changes to set the pages to PHP and its still not adding items to the shopping cart and when i want to open the shopping cart it just says loading the hole time 

This problem im having is even happening when i preview the site in website x5 

something i have also picked up is that when i link a search to a button, eg all the sale items in a set category there is 0 resalts when i click search, and there are items that are on sale in thet category.

The PHP version is 7.3.17 and the MySQL Version is 5.6.47

still strange, i see there is a new version from Incomedia, update, do a full upload and try again. If this does not help i will set this for Incomedia to check because if 2 users have same problem then it might be that there is something wrong within x5.

I have updated to 2020.1.7 and doing a full update, will keep you updated if it works.

the one thing that comes to mind that could have gone wrong, the 1st time i did a update with 2020 i did not have PHP 7.1, but contuned to do the update, could it be possable in doing that something has gone wrong?

If you set afterword the PHP tp 7.1 then that is no problem at all. i work at the moment also on 7.1

I made a small test site in the meantime, specialy in html, there it all works.

or maybe the data management between the website and the database? 

as i have the function that sends the order to database and not email.

Antonio, i have the same things on my own website and in my other test website it all works there, so no i don't think so.

I have a subdomain on my site called www.wholesalers.mygifts.co.za where i sell my things wholesale, i just did a update with website x5 2020.1.7 to test if it works and its working.

Both sites run off the mygifts domain 

The wholesaler was build off the main when i was running 2019 (so they both have almost the same fuctions)

They both working off the same databases

Just something that i picked up while you guys are looking into the problem.

Hi All 

I found the problem, i deleted just over half of my shopping cart itams and it started working.

I can work with it like this for now but i please need this added to becouse there are itams i need to put back on once our lockdown in South Africa is over.

I hope this helps the tech guys along to fixing the problem
