Picture Sizing

Hi
I have placed 2 identical pictures side by side using the image object tool (see below), both objects have the same setting i.e. margins alignment etc. the picture on left is always shorter at the bottom of the image. I have tried using the animated image object and I get the same end results.
Any ideas what is going on.

No, it's a website I have just started
By right-clicking on a cursor and choosing "Reset equal columns width" from the context menu, bring all the columns to the same width.
