Have accidently deleted a project from PC. Is it possible to retrieve the host website files to the local PC and continue operation of the project?

No sorry,
You need the project file, if you have no backup then there is only 1 option start all over again. You can use text and pictures and stuff from internet to add to the project, that makes it a little better but that is about all you can do here.
Make backup's regurly.
