I want to buy the Website X Pro. Do I have to renew web design software every year, even when I am self-hosting my website, using my own domain name and not using the Web Hosting offer that comes with the Website X5 Professional purchase.

O'seun, if you buy WX5 it is yours and will continue to function for as long as you wish to use it. For the first 12 months you will be offered and be able to upgrade to any new versions that are released. At the end of the 12 months whatever version of the software you are using will continue to operate indefinately, but you will not be entitled to any further free updates. Having said this, we will still be available to assist if ever requested and I believe Incomedia will also actively support you for up to 3 years.
I do not use the free hosting. The hosting provided by Incomedia is only free for the first 12 months.
