Here in this link informs that it is a very intuitive web software.

I would suggest you to use the blog instead of the "Portfolio Object" for the purpose.
By doing that, you will have the category possibility and using tags, you can have "sub"-categories.
However - as the blog is not using a database, there is no way posts can be imported.
As an alternative - or combined with - an interactive map, you could use the map-software PinDown.

Imagine that the selection on marker-type is your category. You can then also select on another type or interval. And then there is the date search.
Data for the map is fed to it via images in a folder or from a csv-file in a folder. Or a combination.
You can from the blog link to a marker, and you can link to a blog-post from a marker.
The blog and/or the map is just a suggestion. You could explore the possibilities while you wait for your wishes to be developed by INCOMEDIA.

Do you have any example used by you for the modality or category: house rental or house sale made within the X5 website, using the blog or Pingdown?
