Hello,
My PC crashed and I lost all program and backup files. I also lost my website raw data from the old PC. My question is;
If I download my website all data from the server to a new PC, how can I import it to Website X5 pro and use again?
When I look at the server folder I can see the backup folder but I can't retrieve it.
Another question:
Website X5 Pro is freezing after the last update. I can't close it a normal way.
Thanks for supporting

Hi Orhan,
thank you for getting in touch.
Unfortunately, it isn't possible to recover the files on the server to recreate the project. You need instead either the backup iwzip file (the one that can be generated in Step 5 with the "Export the project" option) or the entire project folder that is generated locally when creating and saving the project while working with the program.
As far as the program freezing is concerned, do you have any empty cells on your pages?
Thanks! Kind regards.

For freezing after the last updates
Like this, I can't close from the beginning page.
Like below. I can't close
Orphan, it appears you are running the beta version?
If you go to your profile (top right this screen) and select download you should be able to get and install the current stable version (2022.2.6), then you can begin the task of recreating your website by copy and pasting from your online website.
Hi Orhan,
do you mean if you click here it freezes?
Thanks!

Hello
I re-installed 2022.2.6 version. I am using win11. Unfortunately, The program isn't closing from "X" and I am trying to close program from Task MAanager ending task.
I need support
Is it totally frozen or can you carry out some tasks (eg new project)?
If you use 3rd party av, malware, VPN or firewall can you temporarily disable them?
Is the default folder inside one drive perhaps?

1. The program is not frozen, I can't close the Website X5 pro from "X". I can use any other option. I only close software from Task Manager
1. I am using Norton 360 and I tried after closing Norton 360. Nothing changed
2. No one drive installed win11 in my PC
So if you open WX5 you immediately cannot close it and if you have a project open you cannot press X to close it?
If you make a change, do not preview or save and try to click X does it prompt you to save?
You don't happen to be using any clever hotkey software are you?

Dear Friend
I have installed and uninstalled many time. No open project no save warning press "x". I am using Windows11 and it happens only when I am using Windows 11.
I am using always Task manager when I want to leave Website X5
I never faced problems on Win10 platform.
It could be a problem with win11. Programmer must be test.
Hi all. I think there is an easy way and for this it is enough to use the compatibility setting in Windows 11.
To do this, you need to find this setting by specifying in the search in the taskbar: "execution of programs designed for previous versions of Windows."
Run this setup and select the site builder from the list, then select switch to windows 10.
After all the manipulations, restart your computer.

Hello
I tried to do and run the compatibility program and troubleshooter according to your advice. Unfortunately, The troubleshooter gives the below incompatible message.
So, Incomedia developer must do something. I am always closing program from The Task manager.
Hello Orhan
I can confirm that at the moment, WebSite X5 is completely compatible with Windows 11 and any standard installation of it will work correctly on that.
The error you're experiencing, meaning that the entire software works but the "X to close" doesn't is extremely weird and I do not believe something like this was ever reported before.
I would like to ask you to please try and complete these procedures to repair C++ and .NET on your computer before further testing
Download and install these again, both in x86 and x64 version:
2012 - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679
2013 - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784
2015 - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145
Then:
Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off
Clear the check box for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and then click on OK. Clear also the check box for Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 and then click on OK.
After Windows disables the feature you will need to go back to re-enable Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and 4.6 and then click ok
Let me know if this helped
Thank you
Stefano

Orphan, can you tell us if the minimise and full page buttons at the top right also fail to work?
Can you also try ALT+F4
(this should do the same as clicking the X on the currently active window)

Hello ESA
Unfortunately, it didn't work with your advice. Full program options are working, minimize icon too,
Today I installed clear window11 and create a new profile ( if my old profile corrupted)
First I installed 2022.2.6 version ( it didn't work----)
Next step I update the Software to 2022.2.9 ( it didn't work too)
I am still insisting something wrong with Win11
The developers must look into this.
If is there any Windows 11 user/users may let us if I am correct or not.!!
Sadly Orhan I have run out of ideas. If ALT+F4 does not close the window this must be something unique to your system. Since nobody else has this issue running Win11 + WX5 I suggest there is only one course of action remaining.
I would be doing a full clean install of Windows on your PC, I would then do a new install of WX5 and test before adding any other programs or utilities. If you follow this route please create an iwzip (step 5, export project) of each project and store externally to your existing hd before proceeding.
From time to time you should restart the PC, i.e. not just switch it off and on again, but click on "Restart".

Dear All
Thank you for all of your grateful advice and kind support.
The question is not answered yet;
Does anyone uses Windows11 + WX5 currently and could she/he closes software with normal way without using the Taskbar option?
I use a notebook with Windows 11 and WebSite X5 Evo, I can close the program by clicking on the X in the top right corner.
Hello. I noticed that the X5 program is installed on your computer on the "D" drive. The program should be installed by default on drive "C". The problem may be in this.
What an interesting observation. It could mean that something in WX5 has been mistakenly hard coded to C: rather than a system variable?
It doesn't have to be the way you think. There can be many reasons. Any Windows program is designed to be installed in the "C" section by default. The problems of closing programs installed in the "D" partition can be affected by third-party programs and utilities, such as backup or automatic defragmentation and other similar programs and system actions. Windows 11 is still a raw product and we don’t know what changes were made in its work. I think deleting from one partition and setting it to the default on the other can open the light between a positive or a negative result. I would try for the sake of finding a solution to this problem.
Could this in any way be related? A previous install on C or D?
