I believe I have the same problem as Angel. My shopping cart doesn't work. The link you provide goes to this page (http://answers.websitex5.com/post/24383) so I can't find the zip.
Can you tell us where is the beta version? I don´t know php or other programing languages, but website x5 is supposed to work for users like me, isn´t it?

Please follow carefully the instructions below:
You should try to install the version Beta of Software we released last week. In order to test the beta version you need to register and login in the following page http://beta.websitex5.com
After, please enter your license key in order to proceed correctly. When you start the software, you will see notification of an updated beta version, please install now the update version.
I suggest you use another PC if possible and to carry out tests on a copy of your project file. Please note, this is very important: documents created with the beta cannot be opened with the Stable version. Once you have installed and opened the copy of your project, export all the project online then press CTRL + F5 on your keyboard in order to refresh your cache. Please let me know if the issue is fixed.

Beta version didn't solve the problem either and I'm going crazy. I´m loosing money every day the problem is not solved. I'm working with Evo9 and tried also Evo8, but the problem is the same. I have a testing site (www.tapadadogato.com/loja.html) and everything works ok on the internet (all 5 steps of the shopping cart), but I don´t receive any order e-mail. I do not know programming but I believe the problem may be related to sending/receiving e-mail options. My hosting provider has an example for sending mails (please see code here https://www.esoterica.pt/suporte/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=159&nav=0). I receive e-mails if I put this code, with my data, on the x5cart.php file, but I don´t receive the order content or any other data from the shopping cart. I don´t know what else to do because I do not know programming languages and I'm really upset because I believed WebSite X5 doesn't require any specific programming skills. Please help me.

My hosting provider told me I need to activate mail sending function by using SMTP autentiation but I don't know how to do it :(

My provider says I need to include information about the server, email and password. I did it mannualy on x5cart.ph but don´t work :(. The application needs to have these fields, isn´t it?

I'm sorry for the inconvenience,I will try to do my best to help you solve the issue. Please follow carefully the instructions below:
The issue of total undefined is another issue compared to the send email order.
After starting the software please should try to change the settings of the script send email from section Preferences. Here you can set "servers of low quality" or "script to low-level" and after you should try to export all the website online. Please you try with these settings that we have set up for different types of web server. For more information on configuration script Evolution 9 we have prepared this faq:

If you have tried all the options available for sending e-mail you should contact your provider to verify the files that we use for sending e-mail. Please send them the imemail.inc.php file that you find in the "res" folder of installation (as example C:\Program Files\WebSite X5 v9 Evolution\Res\). Only the provider knows its method of send e-mail from web server.

I tryed all options for sending e-mail (didn't work) and I contated my provider and here's their answer "We do not providesupport forthird-party applications.Whatwe recommendistocontactthe entity thatdevelopedyour applicationand ask them toactivatesupport for sendingmail withSMTP authentication.".
I'm really desperate :(. Can you please help me and let me know what to do? what code from the following example (part of the example is in portuguese if you want to tranlate) I need to insert ont the imemail.inc.php file and where in this file?

Unfortunately, we cannot change the script to send e-mail configuration for each Web server. We suggest asking your provider to change the script imemail.inc.php for the modify of the script.

The solution Ifound was to change the hosting to another providerthat would allowthe storeto receivee-mails withoutadditional programming.Finallythis weekput thesite up(www.tapadadogato.pt) andalmost everythingworksperfectly,exceptfor themail to the customer. Does not work, that is, I getanemailand thenhave toresend it to the clientasotherwisenot receive it. For this problem i'll look for a solution on other posts.
