Why can;t I find any of my products from the shipping cart online when I google  en

I cannot find any of my products online using Google.

I have cleared the server which contained  my website www.green-forest.nl  X5-pro 2020.  Since I wanted to use the new version with the shopping cart engine. I uploaded the entire new website in December 2022, but now after 5 weeks I still cannot find any products online.

Is there someting I am missing? do I need to add more stuff for the SEO, I didn't change anything at the SEO page since I've downloaded the new X5-2022.  I only added productpages with their specific SEO for those products.

What can I do ,  My shop/products aren't found online.

Hello. I see at least 9 product pages in the search results. And about 227 pages in the search from the entire site as a whole.

Analyze site data in Google Search Console.

You can also find an online sitemap generator, crawl your site and create a "product sitemap".

You can try to speed up indexing like this:

ok I am confused,

1:  I thought the X5 pro  creates a sitemap, do I need an extra one for the products?

2: even if I type the complete title / description of a product in the search field. we do not show up in the search results  I have tried >  killer hogs bbq rub strooibus 16 oz

On the previous version I was found everytime on the first or second page, but then I created all the product pages  manually without the "cart engine" is there a difference?

Hello Richard

WebSite X5 does generate a sitemap, but it doesn't do that for products due to technical reasons.

Due to how products are handled in the website, it is likely better just to let the crawlers discover products on its own by using the links which crawlers will find while navigating the website. Products will be properly indexed this way too, but it can take time

The time for indexing can vary greatly. In some cases, many pages can take months to appear. It is unfortunately impossible to determine when a page will be correctly scanned.

The only advice I can provide is to keep updating the website regularly. Unfortunately, there is not much else a user can do about this but work patiently on the website as it gets scanned overtime

Ok , so waiting and updating ..

Could extra traffic to our website ( through FB IG refferals and seaching for Green Forest BBQ's & Grills ) speed up this process?

Hello Richard

It could be because more traffic is always good for the website. However, it is always and ultimately up to Google when the pages will be correctly indexed

I can only advise keeping your website up to date and I'm positive all pages will be indexed eventually

I have another site www.vliegendehollanderbbq.nl  with the same problem, I have the products there for over 6 months now and still I cannot find any of them in a Google search. Are you sure Google will find any products? Can you show me some examples/links where I can see Google will eventually find the productpages made in the E-commerce section?

I need to do a 1000 products , it will take me a lot of time , but I don't want to do it twice if X5  E-commerce can't be found in google.

Hello Richard

Unfortunately, I do not have a complete list of websites that use Ecommerce and belong to users that I can share, but I can provide at least one example which is a website that I had to verify a few months back due to an issue with products.

You can find it here:

https//www.musik-buedenbender.de

You can try searching the products present here via Google

Hi Stefano,

I just found out that it will never be found if you will use the page created by the e-commerce.

Why? I don't know.

But after checking my websites with on online site map generator I discovered that if you  use the [Shopping_Cart] object on a page and add your products on any random page, they will be found by a sitemapgenerator, and within a couple of weeks by Google I guess.

I created a page added the whole shop, and now the sitemap generator will find them.

https://www.green-forest.nl/alle-producten-van-green-forest.php

I think this will be valuable information for developers to have the  product pages to be found. I think it should be automated with an extra Map at the SPECIAL pages in the Sitemap

Thank me later..

Let's see how long it will take for my product to be found.

Richard

It has been 6 weeks later know , and still I cannot get most of my products found online. And if the product is found, it doesn't have a picture/image in google. Also it doesn't display the correct price, but a price which can be found in the header of our website.  I upgraded the website and use the cart engine to get better results for my webshop , but it is know from 5-6 order per day to 1 order per week....

What am I doing wrong?

Hello Richard

From a technical point of view, I must confirm that the Product Pages as well as the Blog pages, won't be inserted into the sitemap due to how the dynamic pages are generated

This can mean that the pages might take a little longer to be found, but they definitely will. It seems indeed weird to me that the pages for you haven't been found in such a long time but I don't think this to be something caused by the software itself.

We currently provide our tools to many customers using e-commerce whose products are correctly listed online with the same logic.

We also setup the generic cart filter page here to speed up the process:

https://www.green-forest.nl/cartsearch/

That being said, we're constantly working to improve the SEO part of the software and the website's general structure to make sure that pages can be found as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, this is not always dependent on the website itself, but it can take some time for a lot of pages or websites to be discovered and properly index.

I would advise keeping the website up to date and all pages will get properly indexed eventually

I remain available here

Hello together, regarding the dynamic productlisting in the sidemap, there could be an easy solution for the developers. If you enable the Facebook export option, a csv file is created already, which contains links to product page and images. Therfore the data is already available and needs to be copied only at the end of the sitenmap xml file before the </urlset> tag. I did that manually once for testing and it works perfect with different crawlers. The <loc> </loc> came from the FB file, <lastmod> is the actual time stamp and the others are my defaults for products.

By the way the link is an example and the </loc> tag was missing in the above snippet.
