How do I use the calendar object

I have just installed the calendar object but do not have a clue about putting entries into it. How do I do this.

You mean the X5 calendar - right?
The X5 calendar object is only a viewer. It has very few styling options.
The way you put data in the object is via specifying a file for the calendar.
Then the X5 calendar object will show the content of the file in the calendar object.
If/when you need a real calendar you should use the LuxCal calendar.
With the calendar object you can only insert calendar data from other calendars, e.g. Google Calendar.

The Lux calendar has stopped working on my sites since I updated my PHP to v8.1. If there is a way to upgrade Lux cal to PHP 8.1 then I will continue to use it otherwise I need an alternative.
The Luxcal is tested to function with PHP 8.0. And I also think it should function on 8.1
Are you using the latest version of the calendar?

Have downloaded the latest version of LuxCal and that works firn with php8.1 so I don't need the Calendar Object. To be honest I think WebsiteX5 should remove it as it really doesn't work as a calender viewer. I couldn't get it to work with any .ics file I tried to use.
