Hello. I sent a notification about your question to the company employees, expect an answer from them here in the comments.
Hello Croatia
From your screenshot, it seems like the connection to the project was successful.
So what is it that is not working exactly? Is it the final website online?
If this is so, can you please link your website here for me? I will perform a test order for you to check for errors
Thank you
Stefano

Dobrodošli - Stolarija Sandi | Službene web stranice (stolarija-sandi.hr)
Hello Croatia
I verified your website and saw the error.
The error is that PayPal doesn't support hr_HR as locale code. This is probably due to the fact that their service isn't available in your country or something like that.
The error it appearing directly from PayPal, there is nothing the software can do about this.
I would recommend eventually contacting Paypal directly for this to see if they can make it work for you somehow

Lots of campany work with paypal in Croatia... I have your name (website c5...) in paypal account of customer???

Its € curency...
Hello Croatia
As I said, it is not something WebSite X5 can control itself.
I'll show you what I mean:
When PayPal needs to download buttons to your page, your page tells PayPal what the locale is:
You can see here that it says hr_HR and the request fails (that's why it's red).
If you check the request itself, the error is this:
This means that PayPal won't recognize hr_HR as locale. If you change it to something else like en_GB, it will work (which is the one for the United Kingdom)
Again, this is not something WebSite X5 can fix. This needs to be handled directly by PayPal, so I advise consulting them directly

Question number 1
If we change the language of the page in the content language function, everything changes to the language that was changed??? Do you understand the nonsense then??? This is a bug in your app that you admit, so how can users know???
Autor
Question number 2
Where can I change it without affecting the language in which the website is compiled... Because if I change the language (I tried) everything is translated to that one... Meaningless then???!!! Paypal in your application then only works in some countries???!!!
Stefano
here the worldwide countries supported by paypal:
https://www.paypal.com/fr/webapps/mpp/country-worldwide
and croatia is present.
So probably x5 Croatia is right

Axel thank you! As many times, I don't understand why the bug is acknowledged by Incomedia (and we pay for software that should work). And nothing is being done about it, does Incomedia know the legal obligations towards users who pay and buy their software???!!!

There is no answer and my clients depend on me and unfortunately i depend on this forum and i hope that Stefano/Incomedia will come up with a solution soon... In today's business online payment is mandatory, i hope that Incomedia understands that...
I am in one post suggested Incomedia to make/introduce its billing system through X5... I guess they didn't see the post...
Hello Croatia
I'm sorry to hear that my explanation didn't meet your expectations, but I would like to make it once again clear that no fix will be released for WebSite X5 for this because this is not an issue with the software.
I provided a very important piece of information before with the screenshot that clearly illustrates the result of your website's connection to PayPal services, indicating the locale as the cause of the issue.
There is simply nothing we can do to help you with this but advise changing the locale of your website in Step 1 -> Content Language, which of course we understand it's not alright, but it's the only way PayPal will accept it
As much as it bothers me to say this, we won't be able to help and PayPal is the only one you should contact about this.
Send them the screenshot I provided and it will help you explain the issue properly to them

I can't believe that the customer service for an app that i pay for can write me something like this and openly admit a mistake...
"There is simply nothing we can do to help you with this but advise changing the locale of your website in Step 1 -> Content Language, which of course we understand it's not alright, but it's the only way PayPal will accept it"
I contacted Paypal and they referred me to you because I am properly connected to YOUR APPLICATION in my account and in the application!!! Therefore, I expect some other answer because Paypal in Croatia does business properly... You don't expect me to set the page language to English and it will work... This is the answer that children in kindergarten get!!!
Hello Croatia
I'm sorry to have to say this but I really believe we're not understanding each other.
I found more information on the matter for you to help you get this solved:
https://developer.paypal.com/reference/locale-codes/
On this PayPal page, it seems like the supported locale for Croatia is en_US or perhaps en_HR
You can try changing your language's locale in Step 1 -> Language Management to see if one of those is accepted by them
Should this not help, I still advise getting in touch with them. As I already mentioned multiple times, this is not something we can correct ourselves, as much as I know this would be appreciated
Thank you

Thank you Stefano, I am trying everything and you have already received an answer from the PayPal service... The client on his PayPal web interface sees your application but... If I put En, I note that the translation of the entire website, php codes, scripts is in English, so I think that you need to work out online billing better for non-EN speaking users... I note that other systems like Wordpress, Drupal, Yoomla... systems do not have such huge problems as this application has...
Hurry up because you are galloping behind the competition.. .
