Unable to launch Website X5 evo from the short cut on the desktop.

I am unable to launch Website X5 from the short cut on the desktop. When the short cut is clicked and "open" is clicked the hour glass appears for a few seconds as usual but then nothing. No error message. Nothing. Any advice to help resolve this would be much appreciated. http://www.arranbirding.co.uk/index.html

A local contact asked "Have you restarted the computer? Not shut down but restarted – there is a difference with regard to how much “flushing out” is done by the respective actions (shut down remembers a lot of stuff to facilitate a “Fast Start”, restart empties the memory and a lot of cache)." That worked. Issue resolved.
