I'm trying to embed a video (my own) from Youtube into a webpage.
I have tried both HTML Code object and Video and Audio objects to do this, and carefully followed tutorial instructions for both. When I preview, both come up as ERROR and will not play. I have tried Vimeo video embedding, same result - ERROR message...
I can't seem to find any online info that will solve this, I am hoping you can help.

Ah, ok, thank you Axel... no I have not tested online... I am building a new website from scratch and intend to export it once it is fully built and tested. I'll carry on, and trust that everything will be fine... Thanks again for your feedback.
(*) ... (It > En) ... you can start the Preview, and also start your browser, and paste in the address bar of this, this URL:
http://127.0.0.1:8080/ (and click enter)
... or you can export to DISCO and perform local tests with your browsers ...

I tried what you suggest, but don't understand what it is supposed to do - the URL just gives me:
"This site can’t be reached / 127.0.0.1 refused to connect."
...you started Preview first, and then you started your system browser...?...

Yes, I started Preview then system browser... same result
...!... sorry, in all other cases it has always worked...!...
... it would be a good idea to post the LINK of your example online so we can evaluate...

... sorry, ... I was not referring to the link of the video on YouTube, ... but the link of your test page published with online export online in your WEB space...

@Ian , do your testing online !
even if the site is not finished it is good to try it online.
If you already have the domain/webspace ; export it to a test subdirectory
