Missing or orphan orders  en

Very seldom I'm receiving an order email from the online store, but the Dashboard shows no recent orders. Even if I search it by the order number. Even if I query the MySQL database directly. Very weird!

A) In order to send emails to customers and sellers, the email parameters must be correct. These settings vary between different hosting providers and can change over time, so you may need to contact your web hosting provider's support to check whether the settings are still correct.

B) If you suspect errors in WebSite X5, you should perform a clean installation. After the clean installation, load the project. Hold down the left CTRL key and click "Preview" at the top. Wait until the progress bar at the bottom has finished running. Then perform a complete export to the internet.

C) If errors persist, provide more information and wait for Incomedia staff. They will ask further questions and provide clues to possible sources of error if necessary.

The point is that it happens randomly. Probably few times a year in my case. Or 1 order out of a 100 or so is getting lost in the database :(

This raises the question of whether WebSiteX5 and its script forgot to save the data or whether it was a problem with the server or the database at the hosting provider.

Here, too, the Incomedia staff are probably better placed to say whether this was just bad luck or whether there's a problem with WebSite X5 or the web hosting provider.

It's possible that one person is blaming the other.

With this information, we can better understand the issue and help you solve it.
