I prefer to remain in full control of the heading structure on my pages, so automatic heading tag management is set to “None”.

However, WebSite X5 still automatically inserts <h5> tags for titles used in certain objects linking to my booking form. I did not assign H5 to these titles myself. As a result, the software creates jumps in the heading hierarchy, even though its own documentation recommends following the H1–H6 hierarchy without skipping levels.

Could you please provide an option to prevent objects from generating heading tags automatically, or allow users to choose the appropriate HTML element for each object title? Visual formatting and semantic heading structure should be managed separately.

Daniel, I followed the guide and here is where I'm at right now.

According to the X5 guide you sent, my setup is now:

• Automatic Heading Tag Management = 1 - None ✅
• Set H1..H6 tag for Template Headings = checked ✅
• Heading 1–6 styles defined in Template Settings ✅
• Text Object heading selected as H2 Heading 2 ✅
• X5 displays the H2 marker next to the paragraph ✅

So the mystery remains: why isn't X5 writing <h2> into the published source?

Also What my testing has established is: the visible Page Title, Text Object heading styles, and Title Object can all look correct in X5, yet the literal H-tag behavior in the exported source is the unresolved part with no H tags in the view source.
