How can I add a Powerpoint presentation .ppsx file to the widget. There does nbot seem to be any where to broiwse on my PC for the file?
If I put it on the webserver the system asks what I want to open it in, which implys that if the viewer does not have powerpoint 7 it will not run.

Unless I am mistaken a Powerpoint (PP) presentation requires that the user has Powerpoint on their computer? If this is not correct, please some let me know.
You could tell your user that either PP is required or at least the free PP viewer is required. For the free PP viewer check out:

What is the purpose having a widget with iframe and html (and height). And the text: "Show a Mircrosoft Powerpoint PPT/PPS file on the page", if a visitor have to download a 60MB file before seeing the PPT in 'another' program? Then it is not 'on the page'. ??
