Has anyone used an external shopping cart (specifically Mals)?
I'm struggling with Mals as regards product options and buttons - Mals forum doesn't seem to give the answer... maybe I don't even know the question
I can get the options OK... but how do I assign the selected option to a button graphic? (I don't want the generic buy it now button)

P.s. I would like the options in one cell and the graphic in another... is that possible?

After much research :)... I've managed to get the button I want to do what I want, but only in the same cell. However the cell formatting size/border is completely screwed up... probably due to the length of the HTML code ... is there anyway of controlling the cell size when I put in HTML form code?
I've only gone to Mal;s cart because of the lack of multiple options in WSX5...when is that ever going to happen?
Hi Barry!
well first of all, I'm sorry but I can not help you with your personal extra Html codes, I can only help with program features. I'm not exaclty sure about what you are trying to do...could you please attach a screenshot and show me what your are trying to change if it has to be changed with the program?
Thank you!

Hi Samantha
I have a product which comes in two colours and three sizes, a total of 6 options.
Ideally I would like just one row for the user to select colour and size, but I realise that this is not possible with WSX5 Shopping Cart, so therefore I had a look at Mals.
The screenshot now shows six products (still using Mals cart here)... what I wanted is for the options to be in one cell and the button in the last cell... I think I'm asking the impossible here :)... but if Incomedia could just add multiple options to products that would be a help.

Hi Samantha
On the screenshot you will also see that the borders of cells are not fully joined-up... how can I get cell borders yo be fulloy joined?
Why are you using the table object? I think you could use the text7image object and gain the result you are searching for. Here's what you can do:
Hope this helps!

Hi Samantha
I'm not using the table object... just putting borders around cells so it looks like a table.
I think I'm doing most of what you say... I now have six options/products, this is just not as nice as having a single product which the customer selects the options from a drop-down box.
As regards the outer cell margin... why does Incomedia set the margin by default to 3... I've complained before about you setting defaults when it should be the user who sets this, or at least the program should 'remember' the last setting... once you set an option you tend to keep using that option. I know I can copy one cell to another, but we don't always do this do we ? :)
I understand Barry. Well unfortunately there are no other ways for you to do that at the moment. It is not possible to add several options to the same object.
The defualt margins have been set in order to show you automatically what the result could be. As you know they can be adjusted and set according to your needs.
Please feel free to open an idea for our WebSIte X5 creators in order to suggest something different if you wish.
Thanks!
