You already have an menu with 3 levels at the start of a project. Add pages under a level and you have a dropdown menu. This is in menu 2 sitemap creation. Or do you mean something different ?

I mean a drop down menu where when u visit a website and u see a tab, if u hover the mouse over that the menu sometimes drops down hence the name.!, with a few options and u choose which action u want to take

If you go on menu 2 - Sitemap Creation - and you add a new level all the pages you put in this level will be inside a dropdown menu.

thank you for answering, however it is still not working for me. when i create a level and add pages under it, on the site it shows the name of the level and then under it has the name of the pages, it is only supposed to show the pages in a dropdown menu when i hover the mouse over it!

In advanced setting change goto mainmenu style choose tab menu items choose menu item and make the background color transparant. Or same color as your site, then you wont see the level name. Hope this is what you mean.
