I have upgraded from V9 to V10, Imported a working project, everything works fine in V9. Now my one audio file will not play in V10. Please advise

Can you please tell me what filetype it is? Can you try to copy the url address of the preview and paste it in another browser to see if it works?
Try to install Chrome Browser and then in Chrome install the Flash player plugin http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and test again the preview to see if it works.
Please keep me updated.

The file type is wav. The file is stored on my PC. in the Music directory. It plays fine on the PC, and when it is selected, but when opened onto the page it does not play. I am using Windows 8, I have never used Chrome Browser. i am using Internet Explorer with Bing. I am not a technical person re computers.

Hello Ken,
The new Version uses the HTML5 code standard to make it possible that also audio and videos are available on mobile devices. The wav files are not interpreted correctly by every browser and it takes longer to load them and it's why it's preferred to use mp3 format since it is smaller and adapted to be streamed. For some hosting server with the use of wav files there's the need to be set the correct mime type to send them to the browser.
I would suggest to use mp3 instead because they are better supported and loads faster when someone visits the website.

I have converted the wav file to MP3. Also, I have re-started with a new project. I still cannot get any music file to play in the Preview mode.

Try to unzip the file in attachment and move the folder Extensions in the installation folder of WebSite X5 v10 in program files and then test the audio in the preview again.
If it should not work please try to upload the project with the audio file in a subfolder on the domain so I can check why it is not working.

I tried adding the project as an attachment, but it must have been to big. Exactly where do you want me to upload the project to? I do not as yet have the project uploaded to the internet, as I do not know which folder to use out of the 18 listed on the uploading actions.

You need to create a new folder with a name like test and then open this folder and upload the content there. Once done please write me the link so I can visit the test page and see what happens.

Hi Claudio,
Have managed to upload project to the Internet, The music works fine. The Counter is working fine.
My problem now is verifying the website on Google on the option "Update site map on Google".
How do I paste the upload TXT or file to the DNS Server?
Have added site to Website X5.

I finaly worked it out. Site is now Verified. Music works fine, Video works fine.
