Hello Arvid,
Here is one way of doing that:
Create a Text Object, and put some text in it along the lines of 'Print this page' or something similar.
Highlight this text with your mouse, then click on the 'Insert Link' icon on the edit toolbar directly above (it's the one with the little picture of a chain link). In the new window which opens select 'Print page' from the 'Action' menu.
I wouyld like to add to this discussion. I would like to be abvle to print my web pages in printer freindly format (without the background and menu). Internet Sources recomment to build a Print Stylesheet and use scripts to do that. Any ideo how to build a printer friendly page ?
What I usually do is create an additional hidden page in the sitemap, with the Graphic Properties for that particular page set to 'Create the page without the template' - I then set my 'Print this page' hyperlink to point to the new page.
I include only the bare minimum of text and/or images in the 'print-friendly' page... in effect it is a stripped down version of its parent.
However, this technique wouldn't really be practical for an entire site... but then again, how many pages on a site really need to be especially printer-friendly?

On all objects (pictures, text and so on) where you can create an attachement, you can also make it a print command.
Use the attachement button and select print page.
This can also be done in the menu, select a level, then select properties, then use link option to set print page
