just a quick point.
If I am too quick selecting a photoalbum to edit and double click on it before it is selected the error form arises and the system crashes.
Whereas before the project files copuld then take an eternity to be brought into EDIT mode, just now the project was ready to edit immediately...without a progress bar.
Not a massive problem but I have to remember to be slower.
It can't be RAM as I now have 16GB fully usable RAM.
Any ideas?

Can you please copy the report during the crash and paste it here to see what is causing it?
Does this happens also if you try to edit the photoalbum in a new project?

Typical! I've tried to force the fault but the programme is behaving robustly now.
Maybe the last update cured it!
I'll place message here if it happens again.
