Include PDF file in Professonal 11

There used to be a very easy way of connectng to PDF files. Ths seems to have dsappeared n Professonal 11. I need to be able to upload and dispaly PDF fles but it no longer seems to work. Grateful for advice.

check the filter settings in your object page. You should be able to open more objects including the pdf one.
in step 3 top right pulldown menu -> widgets.

Thank you. It would be useful to include local files - otherwise you seem to have to FTP them to the website and then include them.
I will raise and idea.
