No images from the online library are displayed  en

I first noticed this using the free v11, but now I've purchased Evolution v11, it's still the same.

See the attached image. I'm using insert image from the online library. It eventually just shows the broken picture icon for each image and clicking any of the broken picture icons and then clicking ok shows "downloading" but eventually comes up with a "Generic Error".

I'm still using WinXP on this system, as it has to support some legacy development tools.
I'd appreciate any help.

David check if you can see / download the pictures with firewall off.

I think that could be an issue.

Let me know how it works out.

Thanks for the reply, and sorry for the delay replying.

I've tried the firewall off and anti-virus off, but the images are still not being displayed. Very strange...

Hello David,

It seems something else is blocking the connection to the image library. Do you have any firewall settings on your router?

Or any other program which could block in part the connection?

Hi Claudio. Thanks for the reply. There are no firewall settings in the router and nothing else I can think of that could be blocking the connection. I'm also not experiencing any other problems with other internet related apps.

I hope it isn't going to be an issue when it finally comes time to upload the website to the internet...

This should not affect the export of the project since generally the FTP connection is always allowed.

Hello David,

As test can you please try to install the program on another computer to see if on this other computer you experience the same issue?

If possible please  check it on your home internet connection and on another one to see if there are any differences.

Please keep me updated.
