The most likely reason for this given what you have described is an incorrect entry in Step 5 - WebSite Export to Internet  -  in particular check to ensure that you have set the 'Destination folder' field correctly.

You need to ensure that WebSite X5 uploads your project files into the correct folder on your server.  The correct folder is the one which places the 'index.html' file in your project root, which in turn should be within the publicly accessible section of your webspace.  This section is often designated 'public_html'

Other possible causes are incorrect settings in your .htaccess file on the server, or incorrect directory permissions on the server.  These are unlikely if you have not changed webhost recently, or altered any server settings, but your webhost will be able to check these for you.

You can post a screenshot of your FTP settings in Step 5 if you like, which will help us diagnose further.
