did you try to close all the programs running in background?

Did you add any big file to the project?

Have you also tried to rmeove the last added files like video or images to see if this helps?

hello i am having the same problem i have added a shopping cart to my website and ever since then it will keep going to 99.6 and stay that way for hours 

i have worked months on this and really need this sorted 

can you please

advise me on how to fix this

check for your custom codes, remove them and see its saving or not. I seen some users after removing the google analytic, was able to save their project.

also if the language of your website is not in english, make sure there is no special character inside the name of your files/pages.
