X5 Compact Keeps Asking Me for Registration Serial Numbers
Автор: Marc C.Evdery time I start up X5 Compact, I have to register the program all over again, complete with serial numbers, email address, password, etc.
It always accepts my registration, but then always asks me to do it again, the next time I start the program.
Someone had a similar problem last year and posted here...

Verify if under C:\Users\ The Admin username \AppData\Local\Incomedia\ is present a folder called WebSite X5 v10 - Evolution and if inside this folder the licence.iwl file is present.
If this folder exists and inside the file is present, copy the folder and paste it under c:\Users\ Your Windows username \AppData\Local\Incomedia and then start the program.
... but this solution didn't work for me (there is no "AppData" in the Admin Userfile, and the Incomedia file in a completely different place has no licence.iwl file).
I'm using a Toshiba computer with Windows 7.
PLEASE help, this makes the using X5 VERY inconvenient!! Thank you in advance
Hello Marc,
Open the start in Windows and enter
%localappdata%/incomedia/
and then hit enter. This will open the Incomedia folder in Appdata. You will find a folder called WebSite X5 v11 - Compact and there you need to search for the licence.iwl file.
If there is no licence.iwl file in the URL in Explorer change the username with the admin username to see if there you can find the file.
In case also there's no licence.iwl try to start the program with the right click as administrator and then try again to register it. Once done start it again as administrator.
