try to install the Framework 3.5 and 4.0 with this procedure for Windows 8:

Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off
Clear the check box for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and then click on OK. Clear also the check box for Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 and then click on OK.
After Windows disables the feature you will need to go back to re-enable Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and 4.5 and then click ok.

or this for Windows 7:

To repair the .NET Frameworks 3.5 and 4 you need as first to use following cleanup tool to remove .NET 4:

This procedure can take some time to deactivate and activate .NET 3.5.1 and once done reinstall .NET 4 after downloading it from following link:

But it still crashes

I tried that install and after it says it is repairing I had to reboot.

Still the same issue.

I then tried on a laptop that is running windows 10 and it worked.

the problem is that laptop is for other functions and cannot be used and it is a offline laptop.

Please tell me you have another solution

To simulate the exact problem, 

Start a new site, go thru it until you get the site map creation page, go to properties on any menu item and if you enable the extended page title and enter text in that box there is not a problem.

Click on page description and the cursor will flash - still no problem.

the minute you type in anything in that box it crashes

have you the possibility to test in another PC? Probably depends by the Windows setting.

You can also try reinstall all frameworks or restore Windows.

I tried that and it still crashes. What do i do now ? It has been over a month now and i still cannot finish the websites properly. If this is the case then i might as well return this package and buy something like ARTISTEER which also have responsive websites built in.

I have just seen that now a new version is out and now it have the responsive websites. Why was i not told it was coming out ?

Maybe this will solve my problems.

I see there is a difference in the retail prices of what I purchased less than 2 months ago and the new Price ZAR 3 310,78 and What my retain was ZAR 3 036,68  which is R274.10 difference. i do not mind paying this difference and trying to see if this version 12 will work.

I really thought I was buying the latest version and the best one and that is why i purchased your top package. I did not expect that you would have a new version in a month after that and you would want me to buy that again. 

I know that most of my other supliers of software offer free upgrades to new version if pruchased within the previous 3 Months. Some even offer this u to 6 months. If I had known this version was coming out i would have waited before i purchased it.

Please let me know the way forward

I have just tested the Version 12 Demo and it does not crash when I enter the text into the Website keywords.

It seems like in version 12 you have solved it.

Please come back to me about version 11 what we are going to do about it

This is really irritating. Crashing = Not good = Not productive

i am sorry for your situation, you have bought version 12 and the problem is solved.
Probably depends of the pc, try to convert your project in versione 12 if the software works correctly.
