Preview does not show blog

I'm a novice trying to create a simple web page for the first time. I inserted the Blog widget in Page Creation (Step 3) and then in Advanced Settings (Step 4) I wrote the first blog entry, saved it, and it looked good when I clicked Preview. But when I went back to Page Creation to view the page on which the Blog widget had been inserted and clicked Preview, no blog appeared on the page in the preview. What did I do wrong?

If you want to see the full blog, then move the blog from special pages to the menu in step2. (just drag it, after that place in in your menu on a place you like with the move buttons on the right)
Further if you created not only a blog but also an entry in step4, you should see it in the blog widget, if not try to remove it and add it again on the page. It should work.
