You can add text by using a text object next or below or above the image object and create a link to any text your using in there use the link button on top after selecting your text then select file or URL.

Or set a link to the picture itself, using the link button in the image object, then select file or URL, type in the webpage and then youre done.

Also it is possible to place a menu option that guides you visitor to another website, It's not your question but I add it just to be complete.

Create a folder (new level) in step2, then goto properties button on the right, there you can set a link as well, the steps are the same as already mentioned above.

In all the links you can also add a pop up when hovering the link this is also done in the link button menu, use then the tab description.

To link to an external website from the WebSite X5 menu, insert a 'Level' into the sitemap in Step 2, and set a link from this 'Level'  -  you can read about this in detail in the official help file:
