Error while updating: 406

It was not possible to install the files on your computer.

Please verify that all programs are closed and restart the computer.

************************************************************

Have tried to install several time but; keep getting the same error (above). There are no programs running in the foreground.

Hello Paul,

As an alternative to using the built-in update, you can download the latest release from here:

http://answers.websitex5.com/profile/downloads

Once downloaded, reboot your computer, then right-click on the setup file and select 'Run as administrator'  -  this will install the updated version over the old, replacing files automatically as necessary  -  there is no need to uninstall your previous version first.

This method is preferred by some, as certain configurations can cause 406 errors when using the integrated update (usually as a result of proxy, anti-virus, firewall settings, etc., but each circumstance is unique)
