Keeping links in text copied and pasted to user edited object

I need to change a text object to a dynamic object. However; the text object has links at the end of each sentence (more than 25). If I copy the text and try to paste it into the new dynamic object, the links are gone and must be re-entered for each one. Please consider making a way to make a copy of the existing text object (with links), and then paste it into the dynamic object without losing the links?
