Text background wrong

I am trying to put in the default text (with links) into a dynamic object. The one side of a page is correct (left), but the right side has a white background for the text, and I would like it to be transparent. I looked at the set up for both sides and they look identical to me. Can anyone tell me what I have done wrong to get to this point?

Richard, you can set the text link colours yourself.
Check the settings in step 1, general settings -> template style, select text style object.
choose your settings for mouse over link, visited link and active link from the pulldown menu to configure your wishes.
(after change upload and press F5 on the webpage)

Sorry if I mislead you. The text has a link at the end of the sentence, but the link colors are OK. The background color for both the text and the link is wrong. On the attached screen shot, the text on the left is correct, but the text on the right is not.

can you explain step by step what did you do please?
Try use a ney text object and write the text without copy/paste.

Thanks. I was able to fix the problem by clicking the remove all formatting button, then re-doing the formatting along with new links. A lot of work!
