I am setting up an ecommerce site and the products are vector, CAD and custom graphic files. I have searched the community and X5 for a solution, but can't find what I need done.
My question is can X5 upload my products to the customer's email once payment is received and after confirmation is sent, or do I have to send the product manually?

Unfurtanatly this needs to be done manually. But You could create an IDEA post for Incomedia, maybe they are able to make a future like that in future releases.
