My site is responsive but in desktop mode i still have the menu running down the right hand side of page under the hamburger which i wish could actually have the word menu instead. But can i have a normal menu under the header in desktop mode and have it still work in other veiw ports with the mobile menu.

Hello again Michael

Normally the hamburger menu is not visible in desktop mode.

It sounds like you either have too many menu objects, the menu buttons are too wide or the words in each menu objects don't fit on one line within the menu button.

You can make the whole website wider, or you can make the menu small enough to fit on one line.

Michael, to put the header above, below or in the header, step2 template, customisation, template structure. Under menu type, make your choice.

To make the website wider, step 2 template, customisation, resolutions and responsive design, and for responsive site, edit the desktop breakpoint (make it bigger).

Try not to double post (Incomedia take a dim view :-)

Hello Michael,

please follow Esahc's advice, try and increase the size of the space dedicated to the menu on Step 2 - Template > Customization > Template Structure .

Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. Kind regards.
