I have noted that with the X5 Pro version (v.13) there is now an option to mark shopping cart items as "new".

Despite ticking the box I don't seem to be able to get this "new" marking to appear on the product listings.

Is there something else I have to do like 18 other different settings to adjust or does this just not work?

Has anyone else any experience of this?

Any help gratefully received.

in step1 shopping cart set it at the product.

In the shop object choose ribbon type and picture and placement.

That's it.

This way you can have several shops pages with several different ribbons or pictures. (even for the same product) So by using it this way you have more options.

Hello Jonthan,

in WebSite X5 Professional 13 you can set a product as new at Step 1 - Settings > Advanced > Shopping Cart > The Product List section >Shopping Cart | The Product Settings window .

Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. Kind regards.

I am clearly being dim - and so is my wife who also can't see how to do this.

I go to settings / advanced / shopping cart, I select the product and choose edit, this brings up the first product selection.

In this pop up box in the "general" tab at the bottom is the "set this item as new" box, I check this and then a small asterisk appears in the list of products against that particular item.

Doing this does not work.

Try as hard as I might I cannot find any settings for ribbons or pictures - what pages are they hidden in?

A little more detail would be gratefully received.

I have found it on the "pages" menu - I had it all set correctly but had not chosen an image type.

Thanks for your help
