The drop-down menu is ( I guess ) a hamburger menu.

This happens if the "normal" menu cannot be on one line. Then the V13 present the user for a hamburger menu - this behaviour was not in earlier versions.

You could try to make the menu items as small as possible. Then the hamburger shoud disappear and the "normal" menu appear. You can style the menu items, and you can maybe give them shorter names.

If minimixing the menu-items does not help, then please add a link to your site so we can see exactly what it is about.
