After adding a product and then delete the product and then press button "Continue shopping", I go back to my home page and not to my shopping page.

In the post you can see why you are directed to the home page.

You can also see a workaround - this goes for the v13 byt and I don't know if it goes also for v 14 - but just try it.

i have the same problem in 14, continue shopping sends to home page not shopping page which you would think would be the default, can a moderator help please.

The default page is always the home page. In case you have set to add the products in the cart without showing it then the continue shopping buttons opens always the home page. It shows the page from where the product has been added only if by clicking on the product it is shown the cart.

Why call it "Continue shopping" when it's not?

It is allowing to continue to shop since it brings you back on the website and in case you added a product and the cart has been opened it bring you back to the page from where you added it.
