X5 for Ecommerce site - which version to buy

I am thinking about purchasing Website X5 to build my business website, coins and collectables.
I see there are 2 ecommerce versions, Evolution and Professional.
I've used a different site designer in the past that uses an ecommerce database, very easy to use, no limit to the size of the database in regards to items I have for sale.
Does Website X5 Evolution or Professional work along the same lines?
Do you create a database with items for sale, then list them in a repeating area, or do you have to add each item individually to each different page i.e. toy soldiers, toy cars etc.
If so is there a limit to the amount of items you can sell in either version?

My suggestion is to rely on the Professional version, which is the most complete one as far as e-commerce and database management is concerned. I also confirm that you can import all your products with a CSV file. You can have up to 10.000 products in your store.
