Fixed. Thanks to Windows backup. Was able to copy all files that were corrupted. Got quite a scare.

The question is why does it happen? This is not the first time?

I noticed you have to be very patient with X5 and not to close any preview windows too soon. All that actually happens when I do the previews. It freezes on a regular basis. Can you tell me what the reason for this can be?

Everything's updated. Windows and drivers. Maybe more memory? Currently have only 16GB. Would upgrading to 32 help?

I'm glad to hear that you could solve the issue.

This kind of error appears when the project file is corrupted. This can happen, for example, if the software is blocked during a process which is being performed (saving, preview etc). Also, sometimes it can be due to the antivirus blocking such processes. It does not depend on PC configurations.

In order to avoid any annoying situation like this one in the future, please remember doing frequent backups and always wait until the program has finished performing its processes before closing it.
